Psychiatric Mental Health
At Navea, our psychiatric care provides a safe, supportive space to better understand your mental and emotional health needs.
Psychiatric Care
Mental health is foundational to overall well-being. At Navēa, we help you identify your challenges and work collaboratively toward goals that support meaningful balance.
-
Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, sleep challenges, or other mood or cognitive concerns, psychiatric evaluations help identify what’s contributing to your symptoms. The goal is to provide clarity, guidance, and evidence-based options so you can feel empowered and supported in improving daily functioning and overall well-being.
-
People often seek psychiatric support for challenges such as:
Excessive worry, racing thoughts, nervousness, or a sense of dread
Low mood, decreased motivation, loss of interest in activities, or feelings of hopelessness
Irritability, emotional swings, or heightened stress reactivity
Panic attacks, hypervigilance, flashbacks, or dissociation
Brain fog, difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, or trouble managing daily tasks
Trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, waking too early, or unrefreshing sleep
These experiences are common and valid — seeking support is a proactive step toward improved mental and emotional well-being.

Psychiatric Evaluations
Our psychiatric evaluations create space to truly hear your story, empowering you to be an active partner in exploring options that support a more enriched life.
-
At Navea, our comprehensive psychiatric evaluations provide a compassionate approach to understanding your mental health. During your visit, we explore your current symptoms, personal history, and life context to assess conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, stress-related concerns, and more.
This thorough assessment allows us to develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. Treatment may include psychiatric medications to optimize mental wellness and stabilize challenging symptoms, adjustments to existing care, or safely reducing medications for those looking to simplify their daily medication plan.
-
This comprehensive evaluation is designed for women experiencing emotional, cognitive, and mental health changes during perimenopause and menopause — a time when symptoms can feel overlapping, confusing, and difficult to untangle. Hormonal shifts during this stage of life can contribute to new or worsening symptoms such as increased anxiety, low mood, irritability, brain fog, executive functioning challenges, and disrupted sleep.
Appointments are intentionally unhurried and conversational. We review your full medical and mental health history while exploring how hormonal changes may be influencing your current experience. With training in both psychiatric care and women’s health, we thoughtfully navigate the intersection of mood, cognition, sleep, and hormonal change, helping bring clarity to what may be driving your symptoms and outlining evidence-based options that may support mental health, hormonal balance, or both.
-
Our approach is collaborative — we partner with you to ensure every step of your care aligns with your values and goals. Whether your focus is on achieving stability, improving day-to-day functioning, or supporting long-term well-being, we provide evidence-based guidance tailored to what matters most to you, helping you feel informed, supported, and empowered. There is no pressure to choose any particular path; instead, we focus on helping you explore your options and move forward at your own pace, with confidence and ease.
